Abstract
In this paper, we propose cascade form controller for permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) using sliding mode controller(SMC) for inner current control loop and model predictive controller(MPC) for outer torque control loop. With SMC, we can assure that velocity tracking error always converge to zero in finite time. Also with MPC, we can satisfy constraints condition about torque and torque variation.
