- Abstract
- Knowledge information-based architectural work environment is ICT-based work environment. It can be defined as the number of accumulated knowledge to share and leverage generated by the building design process. In many countries around the world entered the 2000s, has published a roadmap for the future of the industry. Architectural, mechanical, IT, medical, military, robots, and the field is not restrictive strategies for leading industries, reflecting the characteristics of each country have been established. All published roadmap look at the future society as a time to prepare for the knowledge information.
However, a small architects which accounts for 95% cases of domestic construction environment is difficult to take these examples. In this study, we provide the evaluation system for small architects to take these examples easily. By using this evaluation system, they can construct the work environment strategy according to prescription for BIM adoption. For developing the evaluation system, we developed architectural design work environment survey items and knowledge information-based architectural design work environment questionnaire through two previous studies.
