| dc.description.abstract | Recently, the design method of architectural field is being changed from 2D drawings to Building Information Modeling (BIM)-based 3D design approaches. Public projects of applying BIM are actively in progress throughout the world. In the case of domestic architectural field, BIM is being aggressively supplied by the government. Also it is necessary to change the design method in the air-conditioning field, in order to respond to social demands and trends in BIM. In this study, we developed a BIM-based design assistance module for building the efficient heating and cooling system in 3D space. Firstly, we develop a product placement module to build air conditioner’s libraries and equipment system interworking BIM. Also we develop a module to place pipes, required to connect equipment such as outdoor units and indoor units. Lastly, we can secure the system's quality by checking pipe length, load, equipment capacity and effectiveness of equipment through system verification module. | - |
