dc.description.abstractFor the safe design of multi-packet blade systems excited by multiple nozzles, vibration characteristics of the system should be identified accurately. The present study derives equations of motion of rotating multi-packet blade systems excited by multiple nozzles using the kane's method. Using the proposed model in this study, resonance frequencies and modes are first identified. The study then investigates the effects of system parameters on the transient and steady -state response.-
