dc.description.abstractThis study evaluated seismic performance of steel intermediate moment frames (IMFs) with various heights. 3-, 6-, 9-, 12-, 15-,and 18-story IMFs in Seismic Design Category (SDC) Bmax are designed according to ASCE 7-10 . The seismic performance wasconducted following the ATC-63 procedure. This study shows that the probability of collapse increases with an increase in storiesof the frame. 18-story frame did not satisfy the requirement specified in ATC-63.-
