dc.description.abstractThe object of this study was to analyze occupant behavior for natural ventilation in residential buildings. Fifteen sample apartmentswas selected for the field study from three sites located in metropolitan area of Seoul. From the results of the field study, it wasfound that occupant ventilated their apartment at 1.1 times/day and 2.3 hours/day. Daily mean outdoor temperature have asignificant effect on the ventilation time, but not on the ventilation frequency. When outdoor temperature is above 9.3°C, theventilation time was significantly increased.-
