dc.description.abstractHydrostatic forces plays an important role in the stability of floating wind turbine and are commonly calculated using linear hydrostatic stiffness. Linear hydrostatic stiffness is obtained using initial position of floating platform. The present is conducted to investigate the effect of hydrostatic nonlinearity on the dynamic response of floating wind turbine. The study shows significant effect of hydrostatic nonlinearity in heave direction.-
