dc.description.abstractThe objective eof the study is to develop the algorithmofestimating the rear-end collision risk in the inter-urban situations.The virtual configuration space is used to simplify the collision model in real-world crash situations and a probabilistic error model is usedto calculate the collision probability in this study.The effects of the sensor noiseon the collision are consideredby the probability distribution using the Monte Carlo simulation. The scenarios arebased on the rear-end collision model in the highway situation and the algorithm is evaluated in simulations.-
