dc.description.abstractThis study is to investigate the energy saving potential of desiccant and evaporative cooling-assisted 100% outdoor air system(LD-IDECOAS) in winter season. The pilot system was installed in office building and a conventional variable air volume (VAV)system was also installed to compare the energy performance of the proposed system. The temperature, humidity, and airflowsensors are installed on various measuring point to estimate the effectiveness of indirect evaporative cooler (IEC) and sensible heatexchanger(SHE). It was found that the effectiveness of IEC and SHE showed 85% and 69%, respectively. One can conclude thatthe LD-IDECOAS showed significant operating energy was saved via conventional VAV system.-
