dc.description.abstractA combat vehicle should guarantee various types of performance such as fire power, mobility and survival. It is hard to assess these performances though experiments due to cost and time. Moreover, it is impossible to do repeatedly experiment during development. In engineering fields of automotive, airplane and ship, modeling and simulation (M&S) has been adopted to assess the performances and to reduce cost in development. In this paper, we build a framework to design the combat vehicle. Performances of fire power, mobility and survival are analyzed and surrogate models of the performances are constructed. Based on the models, we propose a framework of multidisciplinary optimization for the combat vehicle.-
