A linear mapping h : A -> B is called a generalized Jordan homomorphism if there exists a homomorphism h' : A -> B such that h(a(2)) = h(a)'h(a) for all a is an element of A. In this paper, we investigate generalized Jordan homomorphisms in Frechet algebras, associated with the following functional equation f(a+b)/2 + f(a-b)/2 = f (a). Moreover, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of generalized Jordan homomorphisms in Prechet algebras.-
