Almost contractive coupled mapping in ordered complete metric spaces

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce the notion of almost contractive mapping F : X x X -> X with respect to the mapping g : X -> X and establish some existence and uniqueness theorems of a coupled common coincidence point in ordered complete metric spaces. Also, we introduce an example to support our main results. Our results generalize several well-known comparable results in the literature.
