dc.description.abstractIn recent years, suction pile as a foundation of offshore structures and wind turbines are increasingly used. The suction pile is very useful as the basis of the marine structure, using a suction pressure caused by the difference in pressure inside and outside the seabed in a relatively simple manner have many advantages. Loads applied to the structures are varied depending on the environment in which it is installed, so it is essential for stability analysis of the suction piles. In this study, the ultimate pullout bearing capacity of suction piles were calculated through numerical analysis. And it was verified by comparison with the results of the previous study. As a result, it is shown that numerical analysis results and analytical solutions are very similar bearing capacity and failure mechanism, so numerical simulation model developed in this study is adequate method for estimating the pullout bearing capacity of suction piles in the early design stage.-
