dc.description.abstract | Dendrimer has monodisperse character and a globular structure with high surface group density. It makes them very attractive candidates as antimicrobial agents. Glycodendrimers have considerable potential as molecular tools in glycobiology. They can affect microbial growth, so can be used for decomposition of pollutants or sterilization. In this study, we synthesized chitosan modified magnetic cored dendrimers(CM-dendrimers). Magnetic cored dendrimers with chitosan functional groups are used for antibacterial reagent. Synthesized CM-dednrimers were characterized with transmission electron microscope(TEM), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and X-ray diffraction(XRD). | - |
