| dc.description.abstract | Since CPS operates with various physical devices and software, a tiny fault, which occurs at a part of the system, may affect the entire system. In order for CPS to operate properly, it is very important that CPS has the ability to detect and recover from various hardware and software faults. In this paper, we propose FDR-CPS(Fault Detection & Recovery for CPS), which is a software-based fault detection/ recovery framework. For this work, we analyse CPS faults and categorize them as 8 sorts of faults. Then we show several instrumentation techniques for hardening program source code, and finally, we propose a software-based framework, which can detect and recover from CPS faults. | - |
