| dc.description.abstract | Due to recently continuous violent crimes occurred in the country, feared citizens are gradually increasing. Fear of crime isgreatly affects in everyday life to victim as well as general citizen in a particular place. For this reason, CPTED whichreduces criminal injury and fear by changing the design to crime defensive structure is actively utilized at home and abroad.This study reviewed previous studies about CPTED and draw the items which can be quantified and objectified to be appliedto GIS. Through this study may be improved residential environment of communities and cities safe from crime by applyingCPTED with GIS which is not limited by time and space. | - |
