dc.description.abstractBIM has been known to replace conventional 2D drawing tools and provide lots of efficient functions which enable the industry to enhance whole process of design. Especially in early design stage, there are many problems which cause unnecessary spending of time and cost with 2D based working system. To overcome these problems such as drawing error and frequent design change, efficiency improvement of design process is required. Waste occurrence begins at high levels at early design stage, thus this study suggested the application of 3D based BIM for design efficiency in the early design stage and verified it through a case study.-
