| dc.description.abstract | 19세기 전반기 러시아 제국의 통치하에 편입된 그루지야정교회와 그루지야 사회의 역사적 상황은 러시아 제국주의의 속성을 이해하는 다양한 단초를 제공해주고 있다. 그루지야정교의 정체성은 그루지야인들의 신앙, 문화이다. 그러므로 이 지역에서 과거 이슬람 제국의 지배 하에서도 그루지야인들은 나름대로 그루지야정교의 문화적 인식의 단일성으로 자신들의 종교적 정체성을 유지해 왔던 것이다. 동시에 이러한 이슬람 제국이 강성하였던 시기에 전파되었던 이슬람은 지금도 그루지야 사회에서 하나의 사회 문화적 요소로 기능하고 있다. 그러므로 다민족, 다문화 사회에서 이러한 종교적 상황을 전체적으로 이해하는 것은 매우 중요한 역사적, 문화적인 주요 관점으로 기능할 수 있을 것이다. 본 논고는 이러한 차원에서 그루지야 이슬람의 일반적 상황을 이해함으로써, 그루지야 사회의 전체적인 종교 문화의 인식 체계를 이해하고자 시도하였다. | - |
