dc.description.abstractA multi-packet blade system usually undergoes multiple nozzle excitation forces during its normal operation. For the design of a multi-packet blade system, resonance frequencies that may cause system failures should be accurately identified. In this study, the equations of motion of a rotating 3 dimensional multi-packet blade system are derived to carry out modal analysis. To identify resonance frequencies of a 3 dimensional rotating multi-packet blade system according to the angular speed, modal analysis should be first carried out to obtain natural frequencies and mode shapes.-
