Message from the Symposium and program chairs

Abstract

Welcome to the first IEEE International Symposium on Virtual Reality Innovation (ISVRI 2011)! The symposium is co-located with IEEE Virtual Reality 2011 (VR 2011) and with the IEEE Symposium on 3D User Interfaces 2011 (3DUI 2011). ISVRI 2011 was organized to boost various aspects of virtual reality technologies and applications and to complement both VR 2011 as the premium conference on virtual reality and 3DUI 2011, which focuses on the topic of three-dimensional user interfaces. ISVRI is focused on truly innovative concepts, hardware/software systems, and applications of virtual reality, including those that have not reached the stage of well-defined user studies.
