dc.description.abstract | In this paper, we propose a new weighted fuzzy filter, which selectively uses spatial and temporal information. The accuracy of the edge direction detection, motion detection, and interpolation is crucial key factors to obtain excellent visual quality in deinterlaced images. The adopted fuzzy concepts are utilized to design a weight-evaluating technique. The weights were considered to be multiplied by the candidate deinterlaced pixels. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed deinterlacing method performs better than previous techniques. | - |
