| dc.description.abstract | A new, microfluidic polydiacetylene (PDA) sensor system based on the hydrodynamic focusing principle is developed. Narrow fluorescent bands are observed when the focused stream of a PDA solution contacts the sheath flows of cyclodextrin (CD) receptor molecules (see figure). The system allows for continuous and rapid monitoring of molecular recognition events. | - |
