- Abstract
- The Purpose of this study is to anticipate in advance the effect of the Balance Development Project of the Seoul capital city, to estimate the increase of the Integration, and to offer the clue of the expected matter. A case area of this study is the Mi-a community which covers the Mi-a newtown area, the Gil-um newtown area, and Mi-a balance development expedite area. The process of this study is as follows. First, space syntax model of the Mi-a community is made to analysis spatial configuration. 2) The plan of Mi-a newtown area, the Gil-um newtown area, and Mi-a balance development expedite area is applied on Mi-a area, then space syntax model of the Mi-a area is made again. 3) The former and latter model are simulated, then former result is compared latter one. 4) The effect of the Balance Development Project on Mi-a area is analysed from simulated results. a The results of this study show that 1) The change of the integration on Mi-a community is slight, so the effect of the Balance Development Project will be weak. 2) The global integration of the main roads decrease, so that will be significant cause about decrease of the global integration of the Mi-a community. 3) the local integration of the sub-roads decrease, so that will be significant cause about decrease of the local integration of the project area. and the decrease of the local integration of the sub-roads may divide one newtown area into two.
