dc.description.abstractIn this paper we propose the method that measures the thickness of lining-type brake of rolling stock automatically. In order to detect the disk lining brake circular Hough Transform is performed to find the interest point and the edge of brake was searched within the region of interest. Experimental results indicated that the proposed method accurately measures the thickness of lining-type brake with an accuracy of 1.15mm, respectively at the distance of 1.0m from the camera.-
