dc.description.abstractThese days, due to high standard of living and being a graying society, improving quality of life is rather practical pursuit than vague wish. The technology on polysaccharide which can be used in biomedical field is considered as an effective technology for this trend : polysaccharide is a natural material providing promotion of health. In this study, we show the economic impact of polysaccharide that can be applicable for biomedical industry, focusing on chitosan, glucosamine, hyaluronic acid, chondroitin and β-glucan.-
