dc.description.abstractWe propose twisted nematic (TN) mode liquid crystal device with high contrast ratio (CR) using a new microlens array (MLA) configuration composed of switching unit, focusing unit, and circular black matrix layer (BML). Consequently, CR of TN mode is improved dramatically.-
