dc.description.abstractThis study investigates the effect of natural period, strain-hardening ratios, post-capping stiffness ratios, ductility, yield-strength reduction factor, and damping ratios on inelastic displacement ratio (CR) of peak-oriented SDF systems located at the sites classified as NEHRP site class B, C and D. Since equations for CR have been proposed for bilinear systems, it is difficult to estimate CR for the systems having hysteretic properties with strength and stiffness deterioration, and P-Δ effects. This study conducts nonlinear regression analysis for proposing a equation. the proposed equation is consisted for calculating 16%, 50%, and 84% inelastic displacement ratio for peak-oriented SDF systems.-
