| dc.description.abstract | A wideband monopole antenna with dual band-stop function for WLAN (2.4 GHz/5 GHz) is presented. By cutting away an arched slot from the radiation patch and inserting spur-lines into the ground, dual band-stop functions for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WLAN bands are obtained. The proposed antenna operates over 1.9-11 GHz for VSWR <2, while providing a band-stop function in the frequency bands of 2.2-2.5 GHz, and 5.15-6.1 GHz. (c) 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. | - |
