| dc.description.abstract | The advent of large-scale quantum computing will break almost all existing public-key cryptosystems. In response, NIST has initiated PostQuantum Cryptography(PQC) standardization and is currently in progress. Among the 26 Round 2 candidates, lattice-based cryptography is regarded as a promising post cryptosystem. In this work, we define the mathematical basis of lattice-based cryptography and describe each algorithm. We also survey trends in hardware implementations and suggest the importance of developing hardware accelerators for lattice-based PQC. | - |
