| dc.description.abstract | The JTAG (Joint Test Access Group) is an essential tool for embedded system development environments[1]. But JTAG's features can be used as a backdoor by malicious attackers, which now pose a significant threat in the field of device hardware security and hacking. To prevent unauthorized users from accessing JTAG ports, this paper proposes a new Secure JTAG method. The proposed method uses authentication based on the challenge/response protocol as it achieves security improvement compared to the existing method. | - |
