dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the system performance of the frames with Post-Northridge WUF-B connections. Three, nine, and twenty story frames used in SAC steel project were modeled. For this purpose, a nonlinear static pushover analysis and a nonlinear response history analysis were conducted. Maximum roof drift and story drift are estimated. Twenty ground motions were used for response history analysis which were scaled to match design response spectrum for 2% and 10% exceedence probability in 50 years. Analysis results for frames having Post-Northridge connections were compared with those of buildings having ductile connections without fractures.-
