dc.description.abstractA deinterlacing algorithm that is based on rough set theory is researched and applied. In this paper, rough sets serve as a tool for data analysis and knowledge discovery from test sequences. The proposed deinterlacing approach employs a size reduction of the database system, keeping only the essential information for the process. This approach automatically selects the best deinterlacing approach. Decision making and interpolation results are presented.-
