The dip coating of micro-dimensional TiO2 particles onto ceramic foam pellets with a thickness of several millimeters was investigated. The photo-degradation of phenol using prepared pellets with dip-coated TiO 2 was also studied. The result show that the number of reactive sites decreases as the conversion from anatase to rutile phase progresses. It was observed that the dip-coated TiO2 photocatalyst with heating temperatures of 600 and 700 °C show a higher efficiency in photo-degradation of phenol. It was found that the dip-coated TiO2 show a better phenol removal effect than the uncoated, at heating temperatures of about 700°C.-
