중국인 고급 학습자의 한국어 치조, 연구개 파열음과 경구개 파찰음의 조음위치에 따른 음성 특성 연구-한국인 화자와의 비교를 중심으로-

Abstract

본 연구는 중국인 고급 학습자가 산출한 치조 파열음, 연구개 파열음, 경구개 파찰음의 성대진동시작시간(VOT), 폐쇄지속시간(CD), 무게중심(COG) 값이 조음위치에 따라 한국어 원어민과 일치하는지를 확인하는 데에 목적을 두고 있다. 따라서 한국인과 중국인 고급 학습자 각각 6명을 대상으로 음성 실험을 진행하여 통계 분석을 하였고, 결과는 다음과 같다. (1) 중국인 고급 학습자의 성대진동시작시간은 한국인 화자와 비교했을 때 통계학적으로 유의한 차이가 /ki/, /k’i/, /tha/, /thi/, /ʧha/, /ʧhi/, /khi/에서 나타나며 그 시간이 상대적으로 더 길다. (2) 중국인 고급 학습자의 폐쇄지속시간은 한국인 화자와 비교했을 때 통계학적으로 유의한 차이가 /ta/, /ti/, /ʧa/, /ʧi/, /ki/, /ka/, /k’a/에서 나타나며 한국인화자보다 상대적으로 짧다. (3) 중국인 고급 학습자의 무게중심 값은 한국인 화자와의 차이가 /ta/, /ʧa/, /ki/, /t’i/, /thi/, /ʧha/에서 유의하게 드러나며 /ta/, /ʧa/, /ki/에서 한국인 화자보다 더욱 크고 /t’i/, /thi/, /ʧha/에서 한국인 화자보다 더욱 작다.

The purpose of this study is to check whether the values of Korean alveolar plosives, velar plosives and palatal affricates’ voice onset time (VOT), closed duration time (CD), and peak frequency center of gravity (COG) produced by Chinese advanced learners match with native Korean speakers according to the place of articulation. The statistical results were analyzed as follows. (1) Statistically significant differences in voice onset times of Chinese advanced learners appear in /ki/, /k'i/, /tha/, /thi/, /ʧha/, /ʧhi/, /khi/ compared to Korean speakers, and the time is relatively longer. (2) The closure duration of Chinese advanced learners is relatively shorter than that of Korean speakers, with statistically significant differences in /ta/, /ti/, /ʧa/, /ʧi/, /ki/, /ka/, /k'a/ compared to Korean speakers. (3) The center of gravity values of Chinese advanced learners are significantly different from Korean speakers in /ta/, /ʧa/, /ki/, /t'i/, /thi/, /ʧha/, larger than Korean speakers in /ta/, /ʧa/, /ki/, and smaller than Korean speakers in /t'i/, /thi/, /ʧha/.
