dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to design of the ultrasonic atomized liquid desiccant-assisted ventilation system.The ventilation system was operated to remove the latent load in the building, and the ultrasonic atomized liquid desiccantsystem was used to dehumidify the hot and humid outdoor air. The dehumidification performance and thermal loadof the system were evaluated under various liquid-to-gas ratio (L/G ratio) and droplet size of each absorber and regeneratorby the simulation. The results indicated that the proposed system was operated stably with balanced dehumidificationand regeneration when 0.4 and 0.6 L/G ratio and 50 and 50μm droplet size in the absorber and regenerator, respectively.The humidity ratio of the supply air was below 0.010 kg/kg and solution concentration was maintained approximatelyfrom 33 to 35.5% during summer season under the proposed design conditions of the absorber and regenerator.-
