dc.description.abstractIn a heat-pump-driven liquid-desiccant (HPLD) air-conditioning system, the release of extra condensing heatwhile satisfying the target temperature of the regenerator solution is highly important. This study analyzes acapacity-matching performance between the extra condensing load and the maximum thermodynamically possible heattransfer rate of the extra condenser under the various operating parameters. Based on the simulation results, to reducethe extra condensing load and achieve the capacity-matching performance of the extra condenser, the outdoor air andabsorber solution temperatures should be decreased. On the other hand, the regenerator air flow-rate and regeneratorsolution temperature should be increased, and meanwhile, the outdoor air humidity and regenerator solution flow-ratehave less influence on the capacity-matching performance.-
