dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a novel approach for analyzing the junction of a reinforced concrete building that has undergone aging, utilizing a wall-type friction damper. The method is reviewed and validated through simulations conducted with Midas Gens software. The study provides a comprehensive assessment of the building's seismic performance in the second stage, both before and after reinforcement, with detailed results presented in this paper.-
