| dc.description.abstract | Pets in the developed countries, specifically dogs are dealt with special care. Increase in the pet market has led to several smart solutions for the dog vital signs and movement measurement. Amongst these solutions, radar sensors provide a non-contact and non-invasive vital sign measurement setup. Unlike the existing studies, we propose a strategy to measure dogs vital sign in clinical as well as home-environment on daily basis. Particularly for an unconstrained home environment case, we propose a strategy to measure vital signs along with two other parameters which are presence and movement. Daily monitoring for a long duration of time can be used quantify the health and wellbeing of pets. In the clinical environment mean absolute error of 3.70 between radar and references sensors is achieved for HR measurement. | - |
