Abstract
In this study, in order to evaluate the behavioral characteristics of reinforced concrete coupling beams with volume fraction and aspect ratio, cyclic lateral loading experiments of coupling beams were conducted using volume fraction of 0%, 1%, and 2% and aspect ratios of 60 and 80 as variables. Based on the experimental results, we intend to suggest the possibility of rebar detail simplification by incorporating steel fibers into the connecting beams.
