| dc.description.abstract | This paper presents the procedure to design a space frame car with lightweight and high performance based on the restrictions imposed by the KSAE Baja rules. The initial concept design is performed to identify the location of space frames by means of topology optimization considering stiffness, strength and natural frequencies. Detail designs of different number of frames with the same total weight are proposed and the performances are compared to evaluate the effectiveness. | - |
