dc.description.abstractThis study analyzed the deconstruction legislation and 11 existing deconstruction projects to derive the required information system and delay factors. To address these identified factors, a framework for introducing 3D scanning and BIM into deconstruction was proposed. The pro- posed framework comprises equipment selection, simulation methodology, and quantity estima- tion based on BIM material parameters. The results of the case application of the framework showed that it is effective in supporting decision-making through visualization and safety moni- toring according to equipment movement. In addition, the process of calculating the actual weight and volume change rate of waste by utilizing the physical properties of the materials as BIM parameters can provide the information required for deconstruction.-
