dc.description.abstractTo verify previously developed nut stiffness model of a ballscrew and compensate for tilting of the ballscrew shaft with respect to the nut body, an improved stiffness measurement system has been devised. Double-nut ballscrews are tested under several load and assembly conditions. It is confirmed that experimental results are around 90% of the mathematical nut stiffness.-
