UTAUT 2 기반 초등학교 교사 및 예비 초등학교 교사의 AI 디지털교과서 수용 의도 분석: 혼합 회귀분석 적용

Abstract

본 연구는 AI 디지털교과서의 실제 활용도를 결정짓는 핵심 요인인 교사의 수용 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 초등학교 교사 및 예비 초등학교 교사의 AI 디지털교과서 수용 의도 유형을 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 초등학교 교사와 예비 초등학교 교사를 대상으로 확장된 통합 기술 수용 이론(UTAUT 2)을 적용하여 AI 디지털교과서 수용 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하고, 혼합 회귀분석을 통해 수용 의도별 유형을 식별하여 각 집단 간 교사 효능감 차이를 검토했다. 연구 결과, AI 디지털교과서 수용 의도에 따라 교사는 성과 중시형, 사회적 반응형, 도전 탐색형, 환경 민감형의 네 가지 집단으로 구분되었다. 교사의 연차가 높을수록 사회적 반응형, 환경 민감형, 도전 탐색형에 속할 가능성이 높았고, 성별은 집단 분류에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 교수전략 효능감, 학급관리 효능감, 학생참여 효능감 모두 성과 중시형 집단에서 가장 높게 나타났고, 사회적 반응형, 환경 민감형, 도전 탐색형 순으로 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 AI 디지털교과서의 효과적인 도입과 활용을 위해 집단별 특성에 맞는 맞춤형 지원 전략을 제안하였다.

This study aimed to identify types of intention to adopt AI digital textbooks among elementary school teachers and prospective elementary teachers by analyzing factors that influence their behavioral intentions, using the extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2). The core focus was on examining how performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, and hedonic motivation affect teachers’ intention to adopt AI digital textbooks. A mixture regression analysis was conducted to classify participants based on these factors and to examine differences in teacher efficacy across groups. The analysis revealed four distinct user types: performance-focused, socially responsive, exploratory, and environment-sensitive. Teachers with more years of experience were more likely to belong to the socially responsive, environment-sensitive, or exploratory groups, while gender did not significantly affect group classification. Among the four groups, the performance-focused group showed the highest levels of instructional strategy efficacy, classroom management efficacy, and student engagement efficacy, followed by the socially responsive, environment-sensitive, and exploratory groups in descending order. Based on these findings, the study proposes differentiated support strategies tailored to the characteristics of each group to promote the effective adoption and use of AI digital textbooks in elementary education.
