dc.description.abstractAs the demand for automation and intelligent systems continues to grow rapidly across various industries, autonomous robotic technologies have emerged as a significant technological trend. AMR(Autonomous Mobile Robot), capable of perceiving their surroundings in real time and autonomously planning routes to execute assigned tasks, are increasingly being adopted as key solutions across multiple fields. By performing repetitive and physically demanding tasks with speed and precision, AMR helps reduce the burden on human workers while enhancing operational efficiency and stability. This paper investigates the necessity and feasibility of deploying an autonomous waste transport robot within Incheon International Airport to improve the efficiency of janitorial tasks and optimize the waste management process. The proposed system is designed to autonomously collect waste gathered by cleaning staff or transport it along predefined routes to centralized collection points. This minimizes unnecessary worker movement and enables personnel to focus more on detailed cleaning operations. Through a testbed-based experiment that reflects actual airport scenarios, the study validates the system's technological reliability, operational efficiency, and practical applicability in real-world conditions.-
