This paper proposes a scalable N-level modified Dickson charge pump-based hybrid buck converter (MDHC). The MDHC achieves the largest reduction in inductor current (IL) compared to prior works using the same number of capacitors and an inductor. The MDHC continuously supplies charge to the output via flying capacitors (CFs) and multiple output current paths, resulting in high efficiency and fast transient response. The MDHC achieves a peak efficiency of 95.7% at an input voltage (VIN) of 12 V and an output voltage (VO) of 1.8 V.-
