치유의 관점으로 본 柳宗元의 글쓰기 연구 ― 永州 時期 散文을 중심으로

Abstract

This paper studied liuzongyuan's prose from the perspective of healing, and in particular, it examines whether the creation of prose healed liuzongyuan's pain through his writings written during the period of yongzhou(永州). Due to the failure of yongzhengexin(永貞革新), liuzongyuan was demoted to yongzhou, where he lived for 10 years. The demotion was a great pain for him, and not long after he was demoted, his mother died and his colleagues who participated in the yongzhengexin died, forcing liuzongyuan to suffer even more. This period seems to be a time when he could not express his feelings and suppressed himself because The quantity of prose works is relatively low and there was little to express his emotions for about three years in the early days of his life in yongzhou(元和). However, from the 3rd year of yuanhe to the 6th year of yuanhe , he began to express honestly about his pain, fear, worry, and desire. He also began to talk about the yongzhengexin that hurt him greatly, and at first, he described yongzhengexin from a fragmentary and subjective perspective, which gradually turned into a holistic and objective perspective. This period seems to have been a stage of confiding in the pain, and this confession seems to have served as a means of emotional healing. On the other hand, liuzongyuan writes comforting himself by creating a composition that otherizes himself into objects. After mainly projecting his feelings on the a natural object, he comforts himself by creating a composition in which he comforts the a natural object and the a natural object comforts himself. This method was often used in youjiwen(遊記文) such as yongzhoubaji(永州八記), and it is believed that during this period, liuzongyuan received comfort and healing from writing, considering that the time when the youjiwen was written and the time when confession began roughly coincided.
