Bright Pattern 기반의 모바일 뱅킹 사용자 경험 평가 프레임워크 제안

Abstract

한국의 모바일 뱅킹은 지속해서 발전되고 있으며, 이에 발맞추어 다양한 모바일 뱅킹 연구 또한 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 하지만, 주로 모바일 뱅킹에 관한 연구는 사용성 개선이나 보안성 강화 등 기능 중심의 연구로써 모바일 뱅킹 UX 설계를 체계적으로 평가할 수 있는 종합적인 평가 프레임워크 연구는 부족하다. 이에 본 연구는 Bright Pattern 이론을 기반으로 한 사용자 경험(UX)을 체계적으로 평가할 수 있는 프레임워크를 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구방법으로는 체계적 문헌고찰을 적용하여 모바일 뱅킹 UX 관련 553개의 선행연구를 분석하였다. 도출된 139개의UX 요소들을 상위 그룹 기준으로 두 차례에 나누어 재분류한 결과, 사용성, 신뢰성, 보안성, 개인화, 만족도가 다섯가지 핵심 UX 요소로 최종 선정되었다. 또한, 모바일 뱅킹에 적용 가능한 Bright Pattern 원칙과 구체적 사례를 선별하여 다섯 가지 핵심 UX 요소와의 유기적인 매핑을 통해 사용자 중심의 UX 평가 항목의 가이드라인을 정립하였다. 연구 결과, Bright Pattern 이론 기반의 평가 프레임워크는 기존 모바일 뱅킹 UX 연구에서 제공했던 단순한 기능적 평가를 넘어 사용자 중심의 UX를 종합적으로 평가할 수 있는 구체적 평가 항목으로 구성하였다. 또한, 본 연구는 Bright Pattern 이론을 모바일 뱅킹 UX 평가에 최초로 적용했다는 점에서 학문적으로 의의가 있으며 해당 평가 프레임워크는 모바일 뱅킹 UX 설계에 있어 사용자 신뢰 확보 및 장기적 충성도 강화를 위한 구체적인 설계 지침으로서 실무에도 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

Mobile banking in South Korea continues to advance, and in parallel, scholarly research on this topic has been actively expanding. However, most prior studies have concentrated on functional issues such as improving usability or strengthening security, leaving a gap in the development of comprehensive evaluation frameworks for systematically assessing mobile banking user experience (UX) design. To address this limitation, the present study proposes an evaluation framework grounded in Bright Pattern theory. Using a systematic literature review, 553 prior studies on mobile banking UX were analyzed. From this review, 139 UX elements were identified and subsequently reorganized through two rounds of classification, leading to the selection of five core UX dimensions: Usability, Reliability, Security, Personalization, and Satisfaction. In addition, Bright Pattern principles applicable to mobile banking were extracted and mapped to these core dimensions to establish guidelines for user-centered evaluation criteria. The findings indicate that the Bright Pattern–based framework extends beyond the function-oriented assessments prevalent in earlier mobile banking UX research, offering concrete evaluation items that enable the holistic appraisal of user-centered experiences. This study is academically significant as it represents the first attempt to apply Bright Pattern theory to mobile banking UX evaluation. Furthermore, the proposed framework provides practical guidance for mobile banking design by supporting user trust and fostering long-term customer loyalty.
