병사의 그릿과 군 생활 적응의 관계에서 내적통제소재의 매개효과

Abstract

본 연구는 한국군 병사의 그릿과 군 생활 적응의 관계에서 내적통제소재의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기, 강원, 충청 지역 육군 및 공군 부대에서 복무 중인 병사 304명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 측정 도구로는 그릿 척도, 내적통제소재 척도, 군 생활 적응 척도를 사용하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0과 PROCESS Macro(Model 4)를 활용하여 상관분석 및 매개효과 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 그릿은 내적통제소재와 군 생활 적응 모두와 정적 상관을 나타냈고, 내적통제소재 또한 군 생활 적응과 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 더불어, 그릿과 군 생활 적응의 관계에서 내적통제소재의 매개효과가 통계적으로 유의하게 확인되었다. 이는 그릿이 높은 병사일수록 내적통제소재를 통해 군 생활에 보다 효과적으로 적응할 수 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구에서 도출된 결과를 토대로, 학술적 및 실천적 시사점과 더불어 본 연구의 한계점들이 함께 논의되었다.

This study examined the mediating effect of internal locus of control on the relationship between grit and military life adaptation among Korean soldiers. To this end, a survey was conducted with 304 soldiers serving in Army and Air Force units located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gangwon, and Chungcheong provinces. Grit, internal locus of control, and military life adaptation were measured using standardized scales, and the collected data were analyzed through correlation and mediation analyses using SPSS 22.0 and PROCESS Macro (Model 4). The results indicated that grit showed positive correlations with both internal locus of control and military life adaptation, and internal locus of control was also positively correlated with military life adaptation. Furthermore, the mediating effect of internal locus of control in the relationship between grit and military life adaptation was found to be statistically significant. These findings suggest that soldiers with higher levels of grit are more likely to adapt effectively to military life through the reinforcement of internal locus of control. Based on these results, theoretical and practical implications are discussed, along with the limitations of the study.
