Sieving is a continuous process for obtaining particles of specific sizes. In engineering and scientific research, it is important to determine the optimal duration of sieving time. The paper investigates the effects of three factors - rotation speed, added mass, and sieve size - on sieving productivity through 57 experimental groups. Once the rotation speed reaches a certain level, the effective sieving time stabilizes. The effective sieving time for speeds above level 6 is almost identical to that for level 6, which is approximately 3 minutes. The effective sieving time increases with the rise in added mass at the fourth level of speed. However, as the rotation speed increases beyond the fourth level, the impact of added mass on the effective sieving time diminishes. Specifically, at the sixth level of speed, the effective sieving time under different added masses remains approximately 4 minutes. At the sixth level of speed, a smaller sieve size results in a longer effective sieving time. Additionally, as the feed mass increases, the difference in time becomes more pronounced. The results of this study contribute valuable insights into the evaluation of effective sieving time under different working conditions.-
