- Abstract
- This paper presented a new structural dynamic model with which vibration characteristics of rotating pre-twisted blades could be investigated. The natural frequency variations due to the rotational motion could be accurately estimated with the modeling method. The accuracy and efficiency of the proposed model was verified through a comparison study first. The blade used to induce equations of motion of the system in this study is a uniform and isotropic cantilever beam which has a generic cross-section. The effects due to cross-section eccentricity, therefore, were considered. Furthermore, shear and rotary inertia effects were also considered in this study.
